The ABBA polices its certified breeders through a Code of Ethics to ensure that no breeder knowingly breeds a dog or bitch that may produce a dangerous temperament or degenerate health defect. Likewise, the ABBA polices the dogs within its registry to document and maintain consistency amongst its constituents.
Warning: Anyone who purchases a dog that is called an Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog™ but is not eligible for ABBA registration should be aware that the dog is most likely a cross bred mutt and may carry genetic temperament and/or genetic health problems. Before purchasing an Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog, please be sure that the entire litter is ABBA registered and that you will receive official certified ABBA papers. Beware of CREATE-A-BREED registries or dual registrations.
